In order to maintain the sustainable development under the limited availability of resources and energy while paying due consideration to the well-balanced harmony between human activities and global environmental quality, it will become critically important to address to technology innovations for wise and effective electricity and energy applications and resource recycling as well as social science studies on creation of the environmentally friendly communities. In this context, the Foundation gives grants to research and social studies related to; fundamental and innovative technology for supply and applications of electricity and energy, and fundamental technology for resource recycling, and disaster prevention. With aids of these financial grants, the Foundation believes it can contribute to the sound and sustainable development of the communities and the improved standard of living for the citizens.
